Led by composer Pierre Alexandre Tremblay Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana Lugano and violin soloist Darragh Morgan ‘one of the most adventurous violinists around’ BBC Radio 3, this course enables composers/music creators to develop a new work for violin and electronics. Through practical exploration in tandem with violinist Darragh Morgan participants will examine the role of the performer, the function of the electronics, with reactive and/or interactive elements, and the crucial relationship between these components. The course is designed for both creatives composing in traditional and non traditional scoring formats which will be further explored.
